As a journalist for 13 years in Westminster and on the business press, I have a somewhat unique approach to PR and marketing. Many PRs claim to understand what journalists want, but I believe I instinctively know what they want to hear. It's in the blood. Since crossing over into PR and marketing I've enjoyed working on communication strategies with a large number of B2B clients, especially professional services firms.
My spare time these days is spent chasing two under-threes around the park, scraping ice cream off dirty faces and enjoying large coffees on Brighton beach. I occasionally brave the sea – and the pebbles - in the summer with my Topper dinghy (but only occasionally).
